Betr Picks Review 2026: Payout Tables, Wallets and States
Betr Picks Review: Pick'em Payouts Measured Against A Fair Coin Flip
Betr Picks pays 3x for two correct picks in one published table, where a fair coin flip would pay 4x. We compared its multipliers, two wallets and 31-state reach with PrizePicks and Underdog.
Our score
6.6/10Rated 6.6 out of 10
Verdict
Betr Picks is a clean, mobile-first pick'em app with big headline multipliers, up to 10,000x in the maker's own marketing. Against a fair coin-flip price the everyday multipliers keep a wide margin for the house, and the published tables disagree between sources. A reasonable second app for new players, not a clear step up from PrizePicks or Underdog.
Best for
Casual players who want a simple props app and a second pick'em account
Simple props-only interface with a dedicated picks lobby and little clutter
Dynamic Play pays a reduced amount when one or two picks miss
Group Play offers a peer-to-peer format in states that bar player-versus-house contests
Available in 31 states plus DC, including some where sportsbooks are not legal
Separate Fantasy and Social wallets keep play and sweepstakes funds apart
What held it back
Published multiplier tables conflict, and we found no official rules page that settles it
A 2-pick entry at 3x pays 25% below the fair 4x on coin-flip picks
Mobile app only, with no web version for betting from a desktop
Sign-up asks for the last four digits of your SSN and a home address
The terms include an arbitration and class action waiver
Pick'em apps sell one idea: choose over or under on a few player stats, and a correct card pays a fixed multiple. Betr Picks sells it with a louder number than most. Its terms page runs a banner for 10,000x payouts and more than $1B paid out. The useful question is what a normal card pays.
Start with the multiplier, not the banner
Betr's own site does not print a clean payout table that we could capture, and the outside tables disagree. Rotowire lists perfect-play multipliers of 3x for two picks, 5x for three, 10x for four, 20x for five, 30x for six, 50x for seven and 100x for eight. A promotional page gives 6x, 40x and 80x for three, six and seven picks. Check the figures in the app before you enter anything.
Take the Rotowire numbers and test them against a fair price. If each pick is close to a coin flip, which is roughly what a line set at the median aims for, the fair multiplier for two picks is 4x, for three it is 8x, for four 16x, for five 32x and for six 64x. Against that:
Two picks at 3x pays 25% below fair.
Three picks at 5x pays about 37% below fair.
Four picks at 10x pays 37% below fair.
Six picks at 30x pays more than half below fair.
Read those as the house margin, not as a promise of what you will win. Real prop lines are rarely a clean 50%, and sharp players pick the soft ones. Still, a margin that wide is why most casual cards lose.
On a phone the picks page stacks the headline above two screens from the app.
What is different about Betr
Betr's three formats are the actual reasons to open it. Perfect Play is the all-or-nothing card. Dynamic Play pays a smaller multiple if one or two picks miss, so a five-pick card can return something at four correct. That trade softens variance but lowers the top prize. Group Play is a peer-to-peer format for states where standard pick'em against the house is not allowed.
The reach is wider than a sportsbook's. Rotowire and Stokastic put availability at 31 states plus DC, including California, Texas and Florida. Minimum age is 18 in most places, with higher limits in a few, such as 21 in Arizona, Massachusetts and Virginia.
The picks are props-only. If you want spreads, totals or a built-in sportsbook, this is not the lobby for it, although Betr also runs a separate social sportsbook and casino under the same brand.
Two wallets, and why that matters
Betr runs two kinds of money. The help centre's payments section separates deposits and withdrawals for the Fantasy Wallet from purchases and redemptions in the Social Wallet. A deposit to Fantasy and a purchase of social coins are not interchangeable, and withdrawal rules differ by wallet.
The payments page splits Deposits and Withdrawals and points to Fantasy Wallet and Social Wallet guides.
None of the sources we read give a withdrawal timeframe, a fee schedule or a stated limit. We would not call that a red flag, but a tool that holds your money should say how fast it gives it back, and Betr does not say so where we looked.
The fine print you agree to
Sign-up is a full identity check: name, date of birth, address, phone with SMS verification and the last four digits of your SSN. That is standard for a regulated product and worth knowing before you download.
The Picks terms were updated on June 24, 2025 and include an arbitration and class action waiver, written in capitals at the top of the page.
The terms page opens with a capitalised notice of an arbitration and class action waiver.
Promotions change too fast to quote with confidence. One review listed a $10 bonus with a 50% deposit match to $200, and the same page gave a $100 figure elsewhere. We would ignore any sign-up number until the app shows it.
How it stacks up
Against PrizePicks and Underdog, Betr does not give you a better table. Roundups put PrizePicks and Underdog close together on small entries, and the 2-pick Betr figure we found sits in that same band. What Betr adds is availability in more states, plus the Group Play and Dynamic Play formats. What it lacks is the depth and the history those apps have built.
Use it if you are in a state where the other two are shut, if you like a lean props app, or if you want a second account to compare lines. Skip it if you want the best payout table, a desktop site or fast, well-documented cash-outs.
Pick'em entries are bets with real money at risk, and you can lose every dollar entered. This review is general information, not personal financial advice. Set a limit before you play, and stop when you reach it.
Verdict
Betr Picks is competent and easy to learn, and it earns a place as a backup. At 6.6 it is a fair product with a loud advertising line and a margin you should price before you enter.
