DFS and Pick'em Apps

Best for: Best ball and draft players who also want pick'em

Underdog sells pick'em entries from $1, drafts and best ball, and its own published results show most beginners lose. We weigh the all-in-one pitch against PrizePicks.

Best for: New daily fantasy players who want simple lineups and low stakes

FanDuel Fantasy uses a flat $60,000 cap, simple lineups and beginner-only contests. We compared it with DraftKings on contest variety, scoring and the rake a casual player pays.

Best for: Existing Sleeper fantasy players adding a few pick'em entries

Sleeper built its name on free season-long fantasy leagues, then added Picks for paid pick'em entries. We checked how much of the pick'em product stands up without the fantasy crowd behind it.

Best for: Casual players who stick to small-stakes cash games and free contests

DraftKings DFS offers every contest type from $1 head-to-heads to $20 Millionaire Makers. We looked at the payout maths and the pro-concentration data to see if an average player can win.

Best for: Casual players who want a simple props app and a second pick'em account

Betr Picks pays 3x for two correct picks in one published table, where a fair coin flip would pay 4x. We compared its multipliers, two wallets and 31-state reach with PrizePicks and Underdog.

Best for: Casual pick'em players who want low minimums and a chat room

Dabble pairs over/under pick'em with a copy-entry feed, live chat and a $0.05 Copy Cash payout. We checked whether the social layer adds value, then ran the payout table against a fair coin flip.

Best for: Casual prop fans who treat entries as paid entertainment

PrizePicks turns player props into multiplier entries from $5. We worked out what each Power Play and Flex payout implies, and what a coin-flip pick is really worth.
