What works
- Entries start at about $1 on most contests
- Open in roughly 27 to 29 states plus DC
- Simple Higher/Lower interface, rated 4.5 on iOS
- No withdrawal fees, per the terms we read
- 100% first deposit match up to $100 for new users
What does not
- Withdrawals take 3 to 5 business days
- $30 minimum withdrawal and $500 daily cap quoted
- Fewer payment methods than PrizePicks
- State lists and payout tables differ between sources
- Bonus funds are limited to Higher/Lower contests
Most people who download ParlayPlay already have PrizePicks or Underdog. The sensible question is therefore what a third pick'em app adds besides a second sign-up bonus. Our answer, after reading the terms and the independent comparisons: state access and a few different payout shapes, paid for with slower cash-outs.
Two cautions up front. ParlayPlay's own site blocked our automated requests, and the sources we did read disagree on several numbers. We report ranges where they conflict and have not tested a withdrawal ourselves.
What you are actually playing
ParlayPlay hosts Higher/Lower contests: you choose whether a player will finish over or under a projected stat, then combine picks into one entry. One reviewer describes it as prediction-style daily fantasy that sits close to online sports betting while being structured to remain legal in most states.

The app listing is plain. Apple shows it as free, aged 18 and over, with a rating of 4.5 from about 6,500 US ratings. That is a smaller sample than the big names, but the score is solid.
The state map is the real selling point
A pick'em app is only useful where you can enter paid contests. RotoWire's list names 29 states plus Washington DC, including California, Florida, Texas, Illinois and Oregon. A 2026 comparison counts 27 states for paid contests, against 36 for PrizePicks. A third source's list differs again on Oregon.
Do not pick a state from a review, ours included. The app checks your location, and the rules change with state law. If your state is on every list, ParlayPlay is a genuine alternative to apps with stricter geofencing. If it appears on none, skip it.
Payouts: close to PrizePicks, with a longer tail
Payout tables are where the sources part company. One comparison gives ParlayPlay's all-in multipliers as 3x for two picks, 5x for three, 10x for four, 20x for five, 35x for six and 75x for seven, against 3x, 5x, 10x, 20x and 25x on PrizePicks power plays up to six picks. It also lists an insured seven-pick entry that pays 40x if all seven hit, 4x for six and 0.5x for five. RotoWire, by contrast, says only that the top payout is up to 10x on a full five-pick slate.

We cannot reconcile those, so read the multiplier on the entry screen before you stake. The practical point holds either way: a six- or seven-pick entry needs every leg to land, and the probability of that is small. A bigger multiplier is a price for a smaller chance, not a gift.
Adjustable lines are often named as a ParlayPlay feature, meaning a projection you can shift for a different payout. None of the pages we could read spelled out the mechanic or the adjustment, so we cannot say how fairly the trade is priced. Treat it as a feature to test with minimum stakes.
Bonus terms
New players get a 100 percent first deposit match up to $100 in bonus funds plus a $5 free entry, with a $10 minimum deposit. The bonus must be used within 30 days, the free entry expires after 7 days, and the funds are limited to Higher/Lower contests. Another review headline says up to $500; the lower figure is from the article we could read in full.

The mismatch between $100 and $500 is itself informative. Bonus values in this market change often, so check the current terms on the day you join.
Cashing out is the slow part
According to RotoWire, you can withdraw to the original card if you deposited by it in the last 90 days, or by ACH for the rest. Processing takes three to five business days, there is no withdrawal fee, the minimum is $30, and the stated caps are $500 a day, $4,000 a week and $8,000 a month. The 2026 comparison lists payment by Visa, Mastercard and PayPal only, with no ACH deposit, and puts PrizePicks at 24 to 72 hours.
That speed gap is the clearest practical cost. If you win a modest amount you may wait several days for money that a faster app would deliver sooner.

Who it is for
ParlayPlay suits a pick'em player who has already learned the format, lives in a state it covers, and wants an extra app for different lines and a second welcome offer. It does not suit a first-time bettor looking for the most polished option, or anyone who needs cash quickly. Keep entries small, set a deposit limit, and remember that fantasy contests can still lose your whole stake. If play stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
