What works
- FanCash is earned on every wager, win or lose, and redeems from $0.10
- Reported earn rates are 1% on straights, 3% on parlays and 5% on same-game parlays
- The welcome offer pays up to $350 in FanCash across the first seven days
- FanCash can be spent on bonus bets or on jerseys and gear at Fanatics.com
What does not
- Each $50 welcome credit expires 24 hours after it is issued
- Exact earn rates are not disclosed, only ranges that depend on the odds
- There is no desktop site, so every bet is placed on the phone
- Available in about two dozen jurisdictions, with different terms in New York
The pitch for Fanatics Sportsbook is one line long: bet, and get store credit for your team. Whether that line is a reason to pick it over DraftKings or FanDuel comes down to arithmetic, so we start there.
What a rebate of 1% is worth
Fanatics does not publish a single earn rate. BettingUSA says the book gives ranges tied to the odds of the wager, and offers two examples: a $100 bet at -110 earns "up to" $1 in FanCash, while a $100 parlay at +3500 earns between $3 and $6. Top End Sports summarises the rates as 5% on same-game parlays, 3% on regular parlays and 1% on everything else.

Put that against a standard two-way market. At -110 on both sides, the break-even rate is 52.38%, and a bettor who wins half the time loses about $4.55 per $100 staked. A $1 rebate on that stake claws back roughly a fifth of the expected loss. That is real money over a season, and it arrives whether the bet wins or loses.
Parlays are different. A three-pick parlay can carry a margin several times larger than a straight bet, so a 3% rebate covers a small slice of it. Same-game parlays, at 5%, tell the same story whenever the margin on the combined price is wide, and you should check that before assuming otherwise. The rebate is worth taking. It does not turn a bad price into a good one.
Spending FanCash
FanCash belongs to Fanatics ONE, the company-wide loyalty program, and every new sportsbook customer is enrolled at sign-up. It redeems for bonus bets or for jerseys and gear on Fanatics.com. The sportsbook's minimum bonus-bet redemption is just $0.10, which BettingUSA calls "refreshing" because most books force $1 or $5 increments. Bonus bets are divisible and expire after seven days.
For a fan who would buy a jersey anyway, that is the genuine hook, and DraftKings and FanDuel have nothing like it. For anyone else, the rebate is just another small bonus-bet drip.
The welcome offer is a seven-day commitment
Outside New York, the current offer is a $20 wager at minimum odds of -500, after which Fanatics credits $50 of FanCash a day for seven days: $350 in total. Sports Illustrated's review adds the terms that matter. You must opt in each day, and each $50 credit expires 24 hours after it is issued.

That structure rewards a bettor who opens the app every day for a week, and punishes one who forgets. Bets must be placed within 24 hours of each credit, which in practice forces you onto whatever markets are live that day. New York customers get something else: a first cash bet of $1 or more is matched in FanCash for ten consecutive days, up to $100 a day, with unused FanCash expiring after seven days.
Where you can play, and where you cannot
SI's state list for the offer is Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming, plus New York with the different terms. Offers vary by state, and the list changes, so check the app.
In most other states, BettingUSA notes, Fanatics offers yes/no contracts on sports outcomes through a separate Fanatics Markets app. That is a different product with different risks, and it is not covered by this review.
There is no desktop site. Everything happens in the app or mobile web, which suits most bettors and annoys anyone who likes a second screen for line shopping.

Verdict: a sensible second account
Fanatics Sportsbook started in 2023 as a fast, unremarkable app and has since added markets and a loyalty program that actually does something. Its price quality is not what separates it. The rebate does.
Take it if you buy team gear and plan to hold accounts at more than one book. Leave it if you bet mostly parlays and want the best price, because the rebate will not cover the margin. We rate it 7.0: a useful rewards layer on a mid-pack book.
