Midnite ReviewA Slick Mobile Bookmaker With Football Margins to Watch
Midnite is a fast, dark-themed UK bookmaker built around boosts and a clean app. We looked at the live site and independent tests, and the football margins are the weak point.

Verdict: Midnite is an attractive, quick, app-first bookmaker with regular price boosts. It is held back by high margins: The Lines measured 6.5% to 11.9% on popular sports and 9% or more on football. Cash out is discretionary and withdrawals cap at £5,000. Fine for casual mobile bettors who like boosts, but check football prices elsewhere.
Best for: Mobile-first casual bettors who value boosts over price
Visit siteMidnite looks like a bookmaker designed by someone who dislikes bookmakers' websites. The pages are dark, quick and uncluttered, and the first thing it shows you is a price boost, not a wall of promotions. The open question is whether the looks cover for the numbers, and on football the numbers are the weak part.
We did not open an account or place bets for this review. We looked at the live site as a visitor, and read the independent reviews that did test it.
First impressions: a front page built around boosts
The home page opens with two welcome offers and two price boosts. At the time of our capture the offers were "Bet £10, Get £30 in Free Bets" and "Wager £20, Get 100 Free Spins", and the boosts were a football shots-on-target pair moved from 5/6 to 6/4 and a horse racing double lifted from 10/3 to 4/1.
The small print matters more than the headline. The free spins are valued at 10p each and expire after 7 days. Independent reviewers add that the £30 in free bets needs a £10 qualifying bet at minimum odds of 1/1 within 14 days.
On a phone
The mobile layout keeps the same order, with the welcome offer first and the rest underneath.

Midnite has iOS and Android apps, and one reviewer notes sign-in by fingerprint or face recognition, plus push notifications. If you only ever bet on a phone, the app is the reason to look at this bookmaker.
The football page tells you what it is for
Football is the sport most UK bettors come for, so we opened it. The page is a plain list headed "Football", with a bet slip panel on the right that starts empty and a casino strip below.

There is not much ornament here, and that is a point in its favour. The page is quick to scan and to place a bet from. It also shows a modest feature set compared with older rivals, and cash out is limited: according to The Lines, it is "only available for certain wagers, at the bookmaker's discretion."
At phone width the football page reduces to the same list under a single heading.

Prices: where the review turns
This is the part to read twice. The Lines measured an average margin of 6.5% to 11.9% on popular sports, with football at "9% and above". That is high. For comparison, a standard even-money market priced at 1.91 on both sides carries about 4.7%, and exchange-style books price far lower than that.
On a £100 stake, a 9% margin is not a charge you see. It is a smaller price on every selection, and it compounds over a season. Boosts such as the 5/6 to 6/4 example can claw back some of it, but they are one selection at a time, with a stake cap attached.
Our advice on football: check the same market at a bookmaker with a lower margin before you place the bet.
Casino and the rest
Midnite also runs a casino section, which the site gives space to on every sports page. Its lobby opens with "Top Picks for You" and "What's New".

That matters if you tend to wander between products, since gambling losses add up across both. Set deposit limits before you start.
Money out, support and limits
Reviewers describe withdrawals as quick once your identity is verified. The Lines lists limits from £5 to £5,000, with Apple Pay and Google Pay taking up to 72 hours and debit card or Trustly taking up to five business days. You can only withdraw to the payment method you used to deposit.
Support is by live chat and Telegram, with email answered within 24 hours. The same reviewer calls the chat bot "not always accurate." Midnite is operated by Dribble Media Limited and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission since December 2018, according to The Lines. Verify the licence on the Gambling Commission's public register before you deposit, because we found conflicting licence numbers in the review sites we read.
Maximum payouts vary by sport: £250,000 for football tier 1 competitions and £100,000 for tennis, cricket and basketball, with no limit on some others.
Verdict and who it suits
Midnite is a good-looking, mobile-first bookmaker with high football margins and limited cash out. It suits a bettor who values a fast app and regular price boosts and who is happy to pay for that in the odds. It does not suit anyone who bets mainly on football and compares prices.
Betting carries risk, and bonuses are not a way to make money. If gambling stops being fun, UK help is available from GamCare on 0808 8020 133.
