- 01PokerStars8.1/10Best for Tournament grinders in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan or OntarioPokerStars is still the best-stocked poker room for tournament players, with Sunday Million, Spin & Go and the big yearly series. The catch is geography: US real-money play is limited to a few regulated states and now sits under FanDuel branding. Excellent where it is legal, irrelevant where it is not.
- 02GGPoker8.1/10Best for Recreational and tournament players in eligible countries who want big fields and soft gamesGGPoker is the strongest poker product we reviewed this year on features: a deep tournament lobby, Rush & Cash fast-fold tables, a free hand tracker and soft recreational games. The rake is a standard 5% in cash games and the site has had cheating and security scandals, though it acts publicly. Whether it beats PokerStars depends on where you live, since both are blocked in different places. Check eligibility before depositing.
- 03WSOP.com7.6/10Best for Tournament players in NV, NJ, MI or PA who want bracelet eventsWSOP.com has the strongest case among legal US poker rooms: one liquidity pool across four states, official bracelet and Circuit events, and satellites into live series. The weak spots are transparency, since no pool size, rake figures or payout times are published, and thin traffic in Omaha and at small stakes at off-peak hours. Good for tournament players in the four states, not for anyone elsewhere.
- 04partypoker6.9/10Best for Recreational players in regulated markets who prefer a quieter fieldpartypoker is a fair, recreational-friendly room with Fast-Forward, anonymous cash tables and a $600 welcome bonus. Its anti-bot pledge is mostly marketing: the official pages name a Game Integrity team, not specific measures. The smaller player pool is the real drawback for anyone who wants deep tournament fields or tables at high stakes.
