High 5 Casino review: its own studio slots, and a 22-state exclusion list
High 5 Casino is run by the studio that builds many of its slots, which is rare among sweepstakes sites. The rules are stricter than the lobby suggests: 21+, heavy verification and 22 excluded states.
High 5 is a free-to-join sweepstakes casino whose real distinction is that its parent studio builds many of the slots. That gives it a catalogue the licensing sites lack, but the rules are heavy: 21 and over, ID plus a facial scan before a prize, a 48-hour gap between requests, up to ten days to process, and 22 excluded states. Worth a look in an eligible state, not a safe bet anywhere.
Best for Slot fans in eligible states who like a single studio's catalogue and treat coins as entertainment
High 5 Casino · run by High 5 Games · Free to play; Gold Coin packages optional · high5casino.com

- Rules are published in full and dated, version 45.0 as of October 29, 2026
what does not
- 22 states are excluded, and Oklahoma closed on October 29, 2026
- Verification can include a photo ID, facial scan, proof of address and Social Security number

Most sweepstakes casinos are a storefront for other people's slots. High 5 Casino is different in one respect that matters to anyone who cares about the games: the company behind it, High 5 Games, is also a slot studio, and it builds many of the titles you spin. That is a real reason to look at it. It is not, on its own, a reason to pick it.
What owning the studio buys you
We opened High 5 Casino and the studio's own site, High 5 Games, side by side. The studio describes itself as a maker of both land-based and online slots, says it has produced "over 150" slots and counting, and lists regulated-market licences for places such as Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario. Its named hits include Double Da Vinci Diamonds, Secrets of the Forest and Tiki Titans Volcano Gold, the last of which sits at the front of the casino's own game row.

So the lobby is not a pile of rented content. Independent reviewers put the library at roughly 1,200 games on the website and fewer than that in the app (SportsGrid), with hundreds of slots from the parent studio and the rest from outside developers. One affiliate page claims 1,700 or more, so treat any count as soft.
The upside is a consistent house style and a few games you will not find on Pulsz or Chumba. The downside is the one every single-studio lobby has: if you dislike High 5's maths and bonus design, you will tire of it quickly.
Free coins, paid coins, and the arithmetic of both
The site is free to join. Gold Coins are play-only. Sweeps Coins (SC) are the prize currency, and High 5 gives them away three ways under its official rules: a daily bonus on your first login of each day, bundled with purchased Game Coin packs, and mail-in requests, which pay 3 SC per handwritten request. Reviewers report that coin packs start at $1.99 and that a premium offer reaches $29.99.
Nothing here is a way to make money. Sweeps Coins that cost nothing still carry the house edge once you spin them, and Game Coin packs buy entertainment that cannot be refunded: the rules say purchases are final.
Getting a prize out
This is where we read the rules slowly, because it is where sweepstakes sites differ most.
Minimums: 50 SC for a non-cash prize (gift cards) and 100 SC for cash.
Frequency: one redemption request per account in any 48-hour period.
Playthrough: free SC must be used at least once in a Sweeps Coins game before they qualify, and High 5 reserves the right to ask for more.
Caps: the rules say High 5 may limit redemptions to $10,000 a day and $100,000 a month.
Speed: the rules say processing "may take up to ten (10) days" and guarantee nothing. Reviewers describe about 72 hours for review, with checks the slow route and Skrill and gift cards faster.

Verification is not light. Before a first prize you may be asked for a government photo ID, a facial scan, proof of address and your Social Security number. Prizes of $2,000 or more in a year can take longer. If you would rather not hand that over to a play site, say so before you buy anything.
The map is the real constraint
High 5 is for adults aged 21 and over, and the exclusion list in the rules is long: 22 states, including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia. Oklahoma is the newest entry: registrations closed on October 15, 2026, and the platform left the state on October 29.
Sweepstakes sites are not licensed by a state casino regulator, and states keep moving against them. A list that was true when you signed up can change. Check it before you buy coins, and again before you rely on a balance.

Our verdict on the studio argument
We did not fund an account or request a prize for this review, so we have no payout timing of our own to report. What we have is the studio's own site, the operator's rules and independent reports. On that evidence, the in-house angle is genuine but modest: it gives you a distinctive slot catalogue, not safer rules.
Pick High 5 if you live in an eligible state, like the studio's slot style, and treat Gold Coins as a small entertainment budget. Skip it if you want a state-regulated casino, a short verification process, or a prize you can count on in a set number of days. The house edge applies to every spin, free or paid.
If gambling stops being fun, High 5 and every other site on our list point to the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-GAMBLER) for US players.
