How we review
Every score on this site comes from an account we opened, money we deposited and a withdrawal we waited for. Here is exactly what we check.
The test, step by step
- We register as a normal customer from a location where the casino is licensed to operate.
- We complete identity checks and note what was asked for and how long approval took.
- We deposit with at least two payment methods and record fees, limits and processing times.
- We play a spread of slots, table games and live dealer games, and note published return-to-player figures.
- We read the bonus terms in full: wagering multiple, game weighting, maximum bet, expiry and win caps.
- We request a withdrawal and time it from the request to the money arriving.
- We contact support with a real question and test the deposit limit, time-out and self-exclusion tools.
How the score works
The score out of 10 weighs five things: licensing and player protection, payout speed and reliability, the fairness of bonus and account terms, the game library, and customer support. A weak licence or a withdrawal that was delayed without a clear reason pulls the score down more than any welcome offer can push it up.
Scores of 7 and above mean we would be comfortable holding an account there. Between 5 and 6.9 the casino works but has a catch you should understand first. Below 5 we found a problem serious enough to tell readers to look elsewhere.
What never affects a score
- Whether the operator pays referral fees.
- The size of the welcome bonus on its own.
- Requests from the operator to change or remove a review.
Keeping reviews current
Offers, terms and state availability change often, especially for sweepstakes casinos. We recheck reviews when terms change, and the date at the end of each review shows when it was last checked. If you spot something out of date, tell us through the contact page.
