Hashmere reviews the products people use to buy, hold, track and report crypto. We open the accounts and set up the devices before we write a word.
What we cover
Our reviews cover centralized exchanges, hardware and software wallets, crypto tax software, portfolio trackers, market data and research services, trading bots and charting tools, and crypto debit cards. Each review is a product we have used ourselves: we fund the account, move coins in and out, run the report or pair the device, and note what it cost us along the way.
Who writes the reviews
Reviews are published under one byline, The Hashmere Test Desk. The desk is a small team of writers and testers who work on the same checklist, so a score in one review means the same thing as a score in the next. We write for readers who already know what a seed phrase is and want the fees, custody model and regional limits spelled out rather than sold to them.
What we will not do
- We do not accept payment for a review, a score or a place in the rankings.
- We do not tell you which coins to buy. A product review is not investment advice.
- We do not hide a security trade-off or a cheaper rival further down the page.
