What a RoomLedger score does and does not tell you before you spend money on a trip.

Our number describes how a booking platform performed against our published criteria on the date of review. It says nothing about the specific hotel, host, guide, airline or rental company you end up dealing with through that platform, and it cannot predict your particular stay.
Prices and fees change
Service fees, resort fees, currency markup, cancellation windows and loyalty terms are changed frequently and often without announcement. Every figure we publish is dated. Confirm the current number on the operator's own checkout screen before you pay.
Availability varies by market
Inventory, pricing, consumer protection and refund rights differ by country of residence, point of sale and payment method. A platform that is excellent in one market can be materially worse in another, and the legal entity you contract with may not be the one on the homepage.
Insurance, visas and health
Nothing on this site is insurance, immigration or medical advice. Coverage terms, entry requirements and health guidance should be checked with a licensed provider and the relevant government source for your nationality and route, close to your departure date.
Your decision
Read the cancellation terms attached to the exact rate you are buying, keep the confirmation, pay by a method that gives you a dispute route, and treat our review as one input among several. If a booking goes wrong, the operator's dispute process and your card issuer are the mechanisms that recover money — we cannot.
