What we correct
Wrong ingredient lists, wrong concentrations, wrong prices, wrong shade counts, wrong ownership, wrong dates, misattributed quotes, and any omission that leaves a materially false impression. Headlines, captions, alt text and metadata are corrected on the same basis as body copy.
How a correction appears
A material correction gets a dated note on the review saying what was wrong and what is now correct. We do not silently delete an error where understanding the change matters. Typos, formatting and style fixes are made without a note.
Reformulation updates
A reformulation is not a correction — the review was accurate about the old formula. We add a dated update, re-check the affected criteria, and adjust the score if the change is material. The previous score stays visible in the note so the direction of travel is clear.
Submitting a correction
Send the URL, the disputed passage, the correct information and your evidence. Photographs of packaging should show the full ingredient panel and a legible batch or period-after-opening mark where the claim depends on it.
Removal
We correct rather than delete. Removal is considered only for unlawful content, a verified privacy harm, or material that cannot responsibly be corrected. A brand disliking its score is not a reason for removal.
