Why a ledger

Almost every list of “best booking sites” is an affiliate table. The order is bought, the copy is written to convert, and the fee that appears at checkout is never mentioned. A traveller reading one of those pages learns which company pays the most per booking, which is not the question they asked.

We write the opposite kind of page. Each review is an entry: what the platform is, what it charges, what its inventory genuinely covers, and where it fails. The entries carry a score so they can be ordered honestly, and the order does not change because somebody paid.

What we cover

Fifty platforms across eight sections, from the largest online travel agencies to single-purpose tools that solve one problem well. A product qualifies if a reader can go and book with it today.

How the reviews are made

Every review starts on the platform itself: a real search, taken to the payment screen, with the total price and the cancellation terms written down. We read the published policies rather than the marketing page, and we look for the documented pattern of how disputes are handled rather than the promise on the homepage.

Screenshots in our reviews are captured from the operator's own live site. Where a platform blocks automated capture, we say so in the review instead of substituting stock photography.

What we are not

We are not a travel agency, a booking engine or a broker. We hold no deposits, issue no tickets and cannot intervene in a dispute between you and a platform. Nothing published here is personalised financial, legal or medical advice, and a high score is not a promise that a particular booking will go well.
