Inventory you cannot get elsewhere
A platform earns its place by listing properties, seats or tickets a traveller would otherwise miss, not by re-selling the same inventory behind a different logo.
What happens when it breaks
Overbookings, cancelled tours and closed properties are the real test. We read the published policy, then weigh it against the documented pattern of how claims are handled.
How honest the ranking is
Most travel sites sort by what a supplier pays. We note whether that is disclosed, whether it can be switched off, and how far the default order drifts from price order.
