Electric motorbikes for commuters: over 50 km/h, a licence required, long runs every day.
The RQi Sport is the first NIU that is unambiguously a motorcycle: 110 km/h, 450 Nm, 0–50 km/h in 2.9 seconds, dual-channel ABS and traction control. The clever part is that it keeps the scooter trick — two removable UL-certified batteries — so people without a garage socket can still own it. €7,499 is a lot, and the 95–105 km range is the reason to think twice.
#2The 2025 DS is an all-new bike hiding behind an old name: 104 mph, 97 lb-ft and 144 miles of city range. At $14,495 it asks you to believe electric can do rough roads.
#3NIU claims the MQi GT 100 matches any 125cc moped on the market. The 6500 W motor and 100 km/h top speed back it up; the 128 kg kerb weight is what makes it nicer to ride.
